I'm Katemari Rosa, physics (yeah... physics not physical education...) student at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS. Course that I started in 1997/1.

My academic life started at E. E. de 1º grau Padre Balduíno Rambo - where I studied from kindergarten to 8th grade. Then I went to UFRGS to its Technical High School, where I took the secretarial course. After that I went to Faculdade Porto Alegrense de Educação Ciências e Letras - FAPA - where I studied 3 semesters of the math course. And now, but not finally I hope, I am studying physics, again at UFRGS.

When in High School I worked at the library of the Economy, Accounting and Management College for 3 years. I have also worked at Departamento Municipal de Habitação - Demhab, for one year (at the same time I was working at the library).

I used to study in the morning, work at Demhab in the evening and at the library at night.

When I finished high school and started studying at FAPA I also started working at a TV station here. As FAPA is a private college, I couldnt afford it without working. And working at the TV station - Fundação Cultural Piratini Rádio e Televisão, TVE I could make good money and pay for my studies.

In the second semester of physics I started working at another library - me and the libraries!

It was at my high school library - Biblioteca da Escola Técnica - UFRGS.

I started working at 14 years as we have never been a rich family but it was very good for me as I have learned a lot about life and the value of everything.

I can not say I am a very communicative person, however I have made lots of friends in my life. And I am talking about real friends. I may not be that person who will call you all the time and will always invite you to parties and stuff, but be sure I will not forget you and, from time to time we will be in touch. And always we'll talk as deeply as if we kept seeing each other every day.

For me, that is being a friend. Being a friend does not mean being tied to someone. But being there always when this person needs you.

Oh, I forgot! I am from Porto Alegre - RS - Brazil. I love my city, my state, my country. My mom is from Laguna, - SC. So my accent has traces from the summers I used to pass in that city.

My parents have been divorced since I was 2 years old, I guess. I dont have brothers or sisters - thank God! :-)

By the way, I was born on 16, October, 1978.

Thats it, I am a regular person... you know?
